HMS Sunrise/Sunset

This is our second time renting Sunrise/Sunset. The bedroom layout works great for our group of 8 adults and 6 children. We were able to all eat inside on the Sunrise side by sitting 4 children at the small dining table and adding a couple of bar stools from Sunset to the counter for the other 10. There is a private beach just east of the house's beach access which actually turns out to be an advantage because it prevents access to the beach from the high rise on the other side of the private beach so it is easy to set up beach front. Being able to walk to Goatfeathers to pick up seafood is a big plus. This is an older house and could use a little TLC but don't think you can beat the number of bedrooms and convenience to the beach for the price. Management was very responsive to the couple of minor issues we needed fixed.

Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. Not fancy but that suited us fine. Great beach proximity. Wonderful pool. Overall great family vacation with kids and grandkids. Only issue was the private beach that started at the bottom of our private beach access that we weren’t allowed on. Private beaches everywhere in Seagrove is a disaster.

My favorite place!! Best location to seaside and the beach.. Everything is always great at this one! We love it and have rented it before.

Our family of 14 had a great stay. The private beach was terrific and only a 2 minute walk from the house. The house was roomy - we rented both sides - and provided ample areas for different groups. The beach was the softest white sand and perfect for adults and children. The Publix was 10 minutes away and restaurants - and the best ice cream and donuts ever- a short walk. We would definitely stay at Sunrise-Sunset again.

We have been able to stay at Sunset 30A for a few years and have found the location to be excellent. There is room for family to visit and space for each of us to be about our own projects.
The property has been well maintained and when needed improvements have been completed.
The property management team have responded in rapid fashion when needed.

We were very pleased, except parking was to small and road in was to narrow, with trees overhang barely 7 feet in width.
Also house had damages prior to our arrival, and had not been thoroughly cleaned.

We weren't very impressed with the condition of the rental in general for the amount paid. The pool shower on the SunRise side was broken. Fortunately it was all of our family staying on both sides so we used the Sunset pool shower but it might be awkward if each side was rented by different parties. The location and beach access were great! While not right on the beach, there was no major street to cross and it was an easy walk to the private beach access. On nice beach days it was best to set up tents and chairs on the beach in the early morning, around 6am. There was a lot of seaweed and June grass in the water most days (there 7/16-7/23/22).

Great place for families and large gathering. Everyone had plenty of space and own bathroom. Pool was clean, management was very helpful. Plenty of bedrooms s d bunk rooms. Private beach access. Only one minute walk to beach. We rented both sides of house. Having 2 kitchens was wonderful. It is not the fanciest, but it is clean and comfortable. Great location. We are looking at dates for next summer already.

We absolutely loved the location of this place!! Perfect water views and plenty of room for 20+ people!! This was super convenient to the beach for our little kiddos!! Would recommend 100%

My family of 21 people was planning a Labor Day stay here beginning September 3rd. When Hurricane Ida hit we were left with no power. I called and asked if we could come early and the owners agreed and were gracious enough to allow me to bring my Bordeaux who now had no boarding place. My family all came together from New Orleans and various other evacuation sites on Tuesday evening. We spent 6 days in this home that was spacious enough to accommodate all of us comfortably. With 2 kitchens the various cooks had ample space. The children ages 2-9 went between the beach, the pool and artwork on the porch. The 4 month old was able to go to the beach thanks to the canopy and beach chairs provided. All in all it was an amazing end of summer vacation for my family and a welcome respite from the hurricane. Thank you so much!!!

We had great support from the managing agent. The location is perfect for a multi generation family vacation.

We had a wonderful time. Weather was perfect. Two kitchens really worked out great. Pool was crystal clear and very refreshing after a hot day at the beach. The two outdoor showers and bathrooms came in very convenient. Thank you.

This home was a great place for a family vacation. It was clean and well maintained. There was plenty of rooms and beds and it was wonderful having two kitchens (& all the pot/pans/dishes, etc needed). It was very quiet and just a short walk to the beach. There were only two negatives #1 - there is no connection on the top floor so if you've rented both sides it can be cumbersome to get from the upper bedrooms on one side to the upper bedrooms on the other. #2 The stairs to the beach were kind of rough if you have bad knees. However, would come again.

Sunrise/Sunset was a great place to stay with lots of room, easy walk to private beach,kids loved the private pool,nice to have pool and beach toys available, pleasant decor, would definitely come again, infant to grandparents had a wonderful vacation!

We had a very large group and rented both units in the Duplex. Overall, our stay was a lot of fun and the house was large enough to accommodate all of us. Having two kitchens was a huge plus and they were well appointed. In fairness, one of the outside showers was not working and the fridge on the lower level did not work. The pool area is nice and private. The walk to the beach is less than a minute and ideal for frequent trips. Overall we had a great time and would return again.

Nice house with all the things necessary for a fun and relaxed vacation. Several of the TVs did not work and the cable people never showed to fix the problems. Internet did not work when first arrived but a call to the manager and the maintenance guy was there quickly and got all working.

A very nice vacation. We love the house as it accommodates all of our families with its 8 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms. The two kitchens are wonderful as different groups get up at different times and can use the kitchens independently. Our family also enjoys the pool and the private stairs to the beach and the many balconies.

Sunrise/Sunset House was a great house for our 4 generation vacation. The house was roomy enough for the entire family. The house was in a great location for the beach. The description of the home was accurate, amenities were nice. Plenty of cooking utencils and dishes for everyone. We had toddlers to Great Grand parents, and everyone was comfortable. Great location for whatever you would like to do. Not to far for activities, but a quiet beach for relaxing. Plenty of toys in the outdoor toy box for the kids to play in the sand. Some of the beach chairs were well used, but we had brought our own. The only thing I would replace was the hide away bed mattress in the den. It was very worn. Overall a great experience. The manager was very helpful before with all questions we had.

We hosted a wedding on 30 A in Watercolor and rented both HMS Sunrise and Sunset. Family members coming from both coasts and Alaska this property made for a perfect destination to have a Family Retreat and Wedding Celebration. Dual Kitchens and Family rooms connected allowed us to enjoy Family in an at home atmosphere while still having resturants and beach within short walking distance. The property was well kept and clean. Beach Habitats 30A was easy to work with and would highly recommend them.

We have a group of 20 (5 families) who vacation every year. 5his has by far been the best house we have stayed in. The kitchens were fully stocked and spacious! We loved all the balconies. There was plenty of room to spread out. It was great being able to walk down to the beach and know that you would have a spot on the beach to set up. It was not overrun by hotel/condo guests. The pool was wonderful and we loved having outdoor bathrooms/showers!
We had an issue with a broken door when we first arrived and someone was out to inspect within 20 minutes of our call. We were very pleased with our experience and plan to book next year and possibly many years to come!
